Geneva

We were in Geneva during Escalade, which celebrates Genevan independance. There's a famous story about a Genevan woman pouring scalding vegetable soup over the city walls and burning invading soldiers, so every year during Escalade you can buy beautiful (and very expensive; these little ones cost about 30 francs) chocolate cauldrons filled with marzipan vegetables, which you smash open. We also ate fondue (of course) but sadly ate it all before I remembered to take a picture. We got a meat platter for dipping though!
