London travels.

Yes, I am a geek. Starbucks at Conduit St, the very first 'new concept' store. All furnishing are vintage and independently sourced.

Ben's Cookies, like the unknown much better valued gooey-er version of Millies.

So I went to London for 2 nights, primarily because me and two friends were going to Thorpe Park, but stretched it out for a day so we would rested and see some sights and eat some food. It was yummy and I wish I could go back to see what the capital had to really offer.

EAT! Festival 2011


Free pot of chicken thai green curry and rice.


Wagyu beef burger from Northumbrian Wagyu.

Chargrilled chicken with couscous, bread, hummus and banaghanoush from Paradiso.


Pancake filled with cream cheese, cinnamon and sugar from Gospoda.
 Also eaten but not pictured: lots of delicious samples from various stalls, jersey cream icecream, and an unattractive but delicious lump of pigeon on a piece of toast smeared with pigeon pate. Yum.

3 course feast.

Grilled Halloumi dressed with chilli, lemon and olive oil, with organic tomatoes.

Chicken, porcini mushroom and pea risotto topped with a whole poached egg yolk (you have to start poaching egg yolks, they are heaven!).
2 words- chocolate brownies.
